​Lü Pin(吕频)is the founding editor-in-chief of Feminist Voices (China's largest new media platform on women's issue), and a leading feminist activist in China focusing on gender equality, violence against women, and issues of gender and the media. She started her work on women's rights in the late 1990s during the rapid growth in women's rights initiatives and organizations in China after the Women's Conference in Beijing in 1995 and now she is witnessing the transformation of social movements in China with the help of new media but under a more effectively oppressive regime. In 2017 she co-founded a new organization “Chinese Feminist Collective” to mobilize the oversea community and support women’s movement in China.
